A friend recommended the works of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Li_Bai\">Li Bai<\/a>, here&#8217;s one of his pieces,  his beautiful Ziyi Song.\n<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<pre>\r\n            Ziyi Song \r\n\r\nAmidst the flowers a jug of wine,\r\nI pour alone lacking companionship.\r\nSo raising the cup I invite the Moon,\r\nThen turn to my shadow which makes three of us.\r\nBecause the Moon does not know how to drink,\r\nMy shadow merely follows the movement of my body.\r\nThe moon has brought the shadow to keep me company a while,\r\nThe practice of mirth should keep pace with spring.\r\nI start a song and the moon begins to reel,\r\nI rise and dance and the shadow moves grotesquely.\r\nWhile I'm still conscious let's rejoice with one another,\r\nAfter I'm drunk let each one go his way.\r\nLet us bind ourselves for ever for passionless journeyings.\r\nLet us swear to meet again far in the Milky Way. \r\n\r\n                  -- by Li Bai\r\n<\/pre>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spent part of last night reading some Chinese poetry, I guess it&#8217;s my way of getting ready for my trip.
